Stephen Krauss began his career at JWT, New York under the creative leadership of bestselling author James Patterson, developing campaigns across a broad portfolio of brands. His work for Malibu Rum earned the agency its first Gold Lion for print.
He went on to spend 13 years at Grey, New York, rising to Executive Creative Director and helping lead the agency’s creative resurgence. During that time, he introduced the E*TRADE Baby platform, shortlisted at the Academy Awards for a branded short film with Canon, and contributed to major account wins including Gillette.
Stephen later moved brand-side as Chief Creative Officer of The Wonderful Agency in Los Angeles, the in-house agency of The Wonderful Company, where he gained firsthand experience building brands from inside a performance-driven enterprise.
Returning to New York, he served as Deputy CCO at independent agency The BAM Connection, helping drive new business growth and leading the agency to its first Clio Award.
Most recently at FCB New York, Stephen played a key role in retaining the global Centrum business with a platform that strengthened market leadership, and helped lead effective work for Florida Blue.
Today, Stephen works as a creative consultant and executive advisor, helping agencies and brands sharpen positioning, build scalable platforms, and translate distinctive storytelling into measurable growth.
